Now I understand - when we see the word 'Handstand' we tend to be a BIG YES or A BIG NO.
This class is an invitation to simply play. To take the fear and unapproachability away from having a handstand practice. You might not include any handstands in this practice - AND THATS OKAY! Or you might play with some new entries or shapes in your handstand.
The purpose of this class is to build strength and develop flexibility in the areas which enable us to deepen our handstand practice. And it is simply an opportunity to get used to the sensation of being upside down or bringing weight into your hands. (What I have found developing ym practice is that the brain and the body simply need TIME to get okay with that idea)
So why not be daring and have a play!!
REMEMBER: LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. If you feel bits are too advanced, stay in flow and build strength.
If you do not feel comfortable falling / bailing out safely, I advice practicing this if you do intend on trying to go into a full variation of a handstand.
